User Settings

This chapter explains where you can configure which user settings.

Content

Dashboard

In the dashboard settings, you can specify which information is displayed on the SYSSY dashboard. Boxes can be shown or hidden.

The following boxes are available:

  • Favourites
Displays a project table with projects that have been marked as ‘favourites’
  • Project statistics
Displays an overview of the projects that run via HTTP/HTTPS and how many projects use which CMS.
  • Monitoring
Displays the last five monitoring entries.
  • Latest alerts
    Displays the last five alerts.
  • Latest documentation
Displays the last five pieces of documentation.

Project Filter

Here you can set which project filters should be available in the project list.
The filters apply only to your user account, not to the account itself.

Not every filter is likely to be relevant to you, so you'll only see the filters you actually need.

Is there a filter you'd like to see that doesn't exist yet? Let us know, and we'll add it for you!

Info Email

Under “Info Email,” you can choose which emails you'd like to receive from SYSSY and specify the email address to which they should be sent.

Specifically, there are two different types of info emails:

  • Daily morning email updates
Every day at 6:00 a.m., you’ll receive a project overview of all projects and open alerts
  • Weekly info email
On Fridays, an overview of your alerts is sent

Alert Email

Here you can enter one or more email addresses (separated by commas) to which an email will be sent in the event of an alert.

In the event of website outages or security breaches, an email will be sent to the address(es) entered.

User settings

User profile

We require the data in your user profile for login purposes, to address you personally and for the output language.

To protect your data, you must re-enter your user password before editing your user data.

You can set the following data:

  • Username
  • Email address
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Language

The language setting is used to display all texts in SYSSY in your desired language. We currently support German and English.

API key for REST API

An API key for the REST API can be found in the user settings. If you are interested in using the API – e.g. to create projects via the API – please contact support.
