Info Email
Under ‘Info Email,’ you can set which emails you want to receive from SYSSY and to which email address they should be sent.
There are two different types of info emails:
- Daily info emails in the morning
Every day at 6 a.m., you will receive a project overview of all projects and open alerts. - Weekly info email
On Fridays, an overview of your alerts will be sent to you.
Alert Email
Here you can enter one or more email addresses (separated by commas) to which an email will be sent in the event of an alert.
In the event of website outages or security breaches, an email will be sent to the address(es) entered.
Ignore Alerts
There are different types of alerts, some of which are not relevant for everyone. For this reason, you can configure settings to ignore alerts in general.
For example, if you use ready-made hosting packages from a hosting company, you have little influence on the currency of the PHP or MySQL version. Although you can receive information that the PHP version is not secure, you cannot necessarily influence when a security fix will be installed. For this reason, such alerts can be set to ‘ignore’ so that you are not confronted with unnecessary alerts.
The following alerts are available:
- SECURITY: Protocol is not secure
- SECURITY: SSL problem
- SECURITY: CMS version needs a security update
- SECURITY: Extension/Plugin needs a security update

SSL Reminder
In the SSL reminder settings, you can configure notifications for the expiry of your websites' SSL certificates.
The reminder can be activated for all projects with a single setting. You can specify how many days before a certificate expires you want to be notified and to which email address you want to receive the information.
Push notifications via the Android and iOS apps are also possible.
User settings
User profile
We require the data in your user profile for login purposes, to address you personally and for the output language.
To protect your data, you must re-enter your user password before editing your user data.
You can set the following data:
- Username
- Email address
- First name
- Last name
- Language
The language setting is used to display all texts in SYSSY in your desired language. We currently support German and English.
Company data
We require your company details once you have taken out a subscription. The invoice will be issued to the company details. The VAT number is also important here if your company is based outside Austria. The VAT number entered will be checked and all invoices will then be issued net or reverse charge.
An email address for invoice delivery can be stored separately so that invoices can be sent automatically to the accounting department.
API key for REST API
An API key for the REST API can be found in the user settings. If you are interested in using the API – e.g. to create projects via the API – please contact support.
